News Bit: Guerilla Games is hiring for new Horizon games

Guerilla Games has posted a new job listing revealing that the company is looking for an external studio to make new games for them. While it's not unusual game developers to outsource asset development to other studios, Guerilla Games isn't looking for this. The new listing explains that the developer is looking for another studio to make new games for them.

The job listing is for a Co-Dev Producer. As explained by Guerilla Games in the listing, the new developer will become part of a specialized group overseeing externally produced game projects”.It also states that Guerilla Games wants to “expand the Horizon brand” in all aspects including the community and the Horizon game universe. This means the developer is looking for others to create externally produced game projects for them.

Horizon: Forbidden West is due for release next and developer Guerilla Games hasn't provided any news yet about the future of the series. It's clear that Guerilla Games is looking to expand the workforce for the Horizon series and expects to be creating multiple games for it in the future.
