News Bit: Resident Evil Village to get a free DLC

Capcom has published its annual report for 2021 to round out the year with a look back over the year and the future of the company. The full Capcom report has been posted online and it reveals that Resident Evil Village will be getting a free DLC in the future.

In the “Creative Report”, it mentions that Resident Evil Village will be further supported in the future with a “free additional DLC”. The report doesn't explain what the DLC will be but it could mean that the game will be getting a free item-based DLC pack in the future. However, a story-based DLC is confirmed to be in production.

Resident Evil Village has received several free DLC packs already with charms for weapons and the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 both had the same treatment. Hopefully, Capcom will reveal the DLC soon.
