Top 5 Games Still to come to Xbox Game Pass 2022

The Xbox and Bethesda Showcase and extended showcase has now concluded, and with that, we have a solid idea of what the next 12 months of games released on Game Pass will look like.

Naturally, we’re all looking forward to games like starfield, Redfall and other major games coming out in 2023. Yet the first-party lineup for 2022 seems a little lacklustre. That doesn’t mean that there isn’t a lot to look forward to this year that we can play in the near future. So I will be listing what I thought to be the Top 5 games coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2022.

5. Slime Rancher 2 (Fall 2022)

To start off this list we will begin with Slime Rancher 2, an indie farming sim where you travel to Rainbow Island, discovering ancient technology and new slimes to capture and farm. A great game for adults and children alike. This game out of all of the ones on this list will most likely be the most relaxing of the lot.

4. Atomic Heart (September 2022)

One of the more interesting games coming to Xbox Game Pass, Atomic Heart, is a first-person sci-fi shooter. You play as an unstable KGB special agent who is investigating a now dormant manufacturing facility where the robots have begun creating their own experiments. Given that the latest gameplay trailer showed off some abilities such as freezing enemies mid-air as well as lifting enemies telekinetically, this game will definitely be one to keep a close eye on and personally think it may turn out to be the most fun out of all games in this list.

3. Grounded Full Release (September 2022)

Grounded is a game that has felt that it’s been on game preview forever, but now we finally get to see the culmination of all of Obsidian's hard work, with the main campaign releasing in September of this year.

Craft “massive” mansions, punch insects and get killed in the process, the possibilities are endless in this super enjoyable co-op experience. And hopefully, the campaign will bring just as much fun as the sandbox version has since 2020.

2. A Plague Tale: Requiem (2022)

The long-awaited sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, A Plague Tale: Requiem is finally arriving this year to Game Pass with a more precise release date coming on July 23rd. Unlocking the mysteries of the plague with a now older Amecia and her brother Hugo.

If you were a fan of “The Last of Us” you will definitely enjoy this game.

1. Persona 5: Royal (21st October 2022)

Being it is the 25th year anniversary of the Persona Franchise, as well as the pretty much constant requests from Xbox gamers, Atlus has finally decided to bring Persona 3, 4 and 5 Royal to Xbox. And not just onto the platform but also onto Game Pass.

We don’t know when persona 3 and 4 will be added to the service however Persona 5 Royal will be added this October.
