Spider-Man Remastered brings PSN accounts to Steam

A new update for Spider-Man Remastered has brought the PlayStation Network with it. For the first time, players can now link their PSN and Steam accounts together. Shortly after Spider-Man Remastered was released on PC earlier this year, data miners discovered various PSN connection references hidden in the files. Sony has finally released the update to make it happen.

Sony's PC registration page is live and suggests that more PlayStation Studios games will be added soon. The image on the page includes God of War, Days Gone and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves which releases for PC on the 19th of this month. The official description also states that players can also get special unlocks from “other PlayStation Studios games” as well. Previously, Sony has stated they intend to bring more games to PC and give the PC gaming market more attention. It's unclear if Sony intends to allow PC gamers to create PlayStation Network accounts if they don't own a PlayStation console. However, the PC registration page does mention creating a Sony account.
