Skull and Bones Delayed Again at the Last Minute

Skull and Bones was supposed to be finally releasing in November but Ubisoft has just announced a last-minute delay. It's now been pushed into 2023, six years after it was first announced at E3 2017.

Ubisoft sent out press releases last week to announce that Skull and Bones was being delayed, just weeks before release. The company explains that "game development is finished at this stage" but the team needs additional time to "further polish and balance the experience". Ubisoft states the decision was based on feedback from technical tests and closed betas.

Considering Skull and Bones was set to finally release in November, it should only need slight modifications to polish the game and fix the balance issues. Ubisoft has opted to delay the game by another four months to give the team time to address the problems with the game. This is the fifth delay since it was first announced in 2017 with a 2018 release date for PPS4 and Xbox One,

Skull and Bones will now release on March 9th 2023.
