News Bit: Splinter Cell Remake will have a Rewritten story

Ubisoft is looking to bring on a new scriptwriter to work on the upcoming Splinter Cell Remake project. There hasn't been much news about the upcoming remake, but Ubisoft's job listing does provide some interesting details about what we can expect. According to the new job posting, Ubisoft intends fully to modernise the original Splinter Cell game. The job description states that they are "rewriting and updating the story for a modern-day audience". However, they want to keep the original game's "spirit and themes." Ubisoft plans to keep "the heart of the Splinter Cell experience" while improving visuals, gameplay, and story. There's no information yet about what this means for the story but, Ubisoft isn't the only company changing the story in a remake. The Resident Evil 4 remake will also be arriving with a slightly different story to the original game.
