News BitL The Lord of the Rings: Gollum Gameplay Reveal Trailer is kinda Weak

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum game has been highly anticipated and developer Daedalic Entertainment has finally released the first gameplay trailer for it. It's not exactly what fans have been hoping for since it kinda lacks any real gameplay. On top of this, the graphics just aren't there yet.

In the trailer we can see Gollum sneaking around and being generally stealthy to avoid being noticed by enemies. It doesn't include anything about what the combat will be like, what happens if he's spotted by enemies or if he can escape if found. One of the clips does show him aiming and throwing something near some enemies which could have been a rock to distract them but it's not made clear in the new video.

Fans are also posting in the video comments about how “rough” the game looks visually which could hurt it at release. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is set to release on September 1st this year.
