News Bit: System Shock hasn't lost its charm with the remake

During the recent PC Gaming Show 2022 showcase, a new trailer for the upcoming System Shock remake was revealed. We've finally been given a good look at the new version of the iconic sci-fi game. The original game was released in 1994 and from the gameplay released during the show, it's clear the game has received a huge visual upgrade.

System Shock was innovative when it was released in 1994 and considering how computer-driven the modern world is, the plot is still relevant. The new trailer released for the game focused on the gameplay but the Shodan voice-over revealed some of the plot for interested viewers that have never played the original game.

While the remake might not seem to have any innovative gameplay in 2022, the original game became a massive influence for many games after it was first released. Many games have followed in its footsteps. Modern gamers will get to re-live System Shock or discover it for the first time when it is released later this year.
