Just announced at the Tokyo Game Show, Bandai Namco's 2021 JRPG Scarlet Nexus is coming to Xbox Game Pass. As predicted way back.
Xbox had the marketing rights for this on release, and shows that they are doubling down in their commitment to bring more JPRGs to their gaming ecosystem.
Long having been second place to native Sony in the Japanese market, Microsoft has made some way into the head space and market share in Japan since the release of the Series X/S line of consoles.
With access to Game Pass Ultimate including streaming to mobile, and the smaller more affordable Series S. There is a lot which appeals to this market.
So it's pleasing to see team green embracing this and helping sate the appetites for JRPGs that Xbox has historically lacked.
