News Bit: The Lord of the Rings: Gollum delayed for “polishing”

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was originally due to release on September 1st and its first gameplay trailer was released in early July. The gameplay video didn't gather much of a positive response by interested gamers for various reasons. It lacked gameplay and the graphics seems a little rough in places.

The official Gollum game Twitter account has posted a statement online to announce the game has been delayed. The team has decided to push the release back by “a few months” to ensure they are able to “deliver the best possible experience” on release day. The response to the announcement has been mostly positive by gamers, especially those disappointed by the first gameplay trailer.

A new release date for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be announced: “in the near future”. There should be an update on the game before the end of this year.
