News Bit: Shadow Warrior 3 release date leaked by Microsoft

The release date for Shadow Warrior 3 seems to have been leaked by Microsoft ahead of an official announcement. The Microsoft store page for the game listed it with a March 1st release date. It's possible this was a placeholder date but it's since been removed from the store pages for Shadow Warrior 3.

If true, this wouldn't be the first time the Microsoft Store has leaked the game release date. The most recent major leak was the release date for Halo Infinite last year. Shadow Warrior 3 seems to be the first major release date leak from the store for 2022 however.

Announced in 2020, Shadow Warrior 3 was originally set for a 2021 release but was delayed into 2022 instead. There's been no official comment yet from developer Flying Wild Hog or publisher Devolver Digital about the release date leak. If the game is releasing on March 1st then we can expect confirmation soon.
