News Bit: Oxenfree 2 villains are breaking into the first game

Developer Night School Studio has been hard at work on Oxenfree 2 to bring a new horror story to life. The next game is set five years after the events of the first game and follows Riley as she returns to her home town to investigate mysterious radio signals. We don't need to wait until 2022 to experience some of what we can expect to see in Oxenfree 2 though.

Posting to Twitter, the developer announced that “Signals are break though into OXENFREE” with Patch 3.1.1 bringing some unusual content. A series of mysterious tweets has unveiled that the enemies from Oxenfree 2: Lost Signal are so strong that they've broken into the original game. New radio transmissions are now available in the game from the enemies of Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals.

Currently, this update is only available for PC gamers. Night School Studio is looking to bring this to the other platforms in the near future as well. Oxenfree II: Lost Signals doesn't have a release date yet but we know it's supposed to be coming in 2022.
