News Bit: New Sony studio is making a Triple A Horror Game

Sony recently acquired Firesprite studio and a new job listing has appeared on the studio's website. It states that a new horror game is in development and that it will be running on Unreal Engine 5. The listing also clearly states this is a “AAA first-party PlayStation” title.

According to the job listing, the studio is working on a “AAA narrative-driven horror-adventure game in Unreal 5”. They are looking for a Narrative Director to join the team and work on different aspects of the storytelling. It also mentions the new worker will need to “consider the game's universe and lore”.

Sadly the job listing doesn't give too much away about the new project and there are other listings from Firesprite for an AAA narrative-driven adventure game in Unreal Engine 5. The other job listings on the website don't mention any horror aspect however so it's unknown if these are even for the same project.
