News Bit: Fallout New Vegas 2 is reportedly in talks at Microsoft

According to a well-known leaker and game informant, Fallout New Vegas 2 is currently in talks at Microsoft. Speaking on his podcast Grubbsnax, Jeff Grubb has claimed that Obsidian may create a sequel to the popular RPG now that Microsoft has acquired Bethesda.

Grubb reveals that this is still “very early” and that “people have begun to have talks” about Obsidian and New Vegas 2. Considering this is very early stages, a new Fallout game from the team at Obsidian is many years away. Grubb did mention that it would be “years and years away” before adding that “there's at least an interest and conversations happening about making something like that actually a reality”,

According to him, “a lot of people at Microsoft think that this could work and there's a lot of interest to make it happen”. Obsidian Entertainment has expressed interest in the past in making a sequel to New Vegas. All parties seem to be interested in a new Fallout game from Obsidian.
