Capcom has announced a brand new action game fighting dinosaurs but it's not part of the Dino Crisis series. Exoprimal was announced during the most recent PlayStation State of Play event and confirms that Capcom does still have some interest in sending players out to fight dinosaurs. This new game is a co-op action game and not survival horror.
Exoprimal is a team-based game with both PvE and PvP included. The main mode is called Dino Survival where two teams of five compete across different missions. News is still a bit limited but we can expect Capcom to reveal more as the release date approaches. The reveal trailer shows it's a third-person game and that there are several mech classes with unique capabilities such as a large shield.
An exact release date hasn't been announced yet but Capcom has confirmed they are targeting a 2023 release date.
