Evil West's developers announced on Twitter that the game has been slightly delayed. It will still be released this year, but the team requires additional time to complete it.
While Evil West was supposed to be released in 2021, it has been delayed several times. The developer Flying Wild Hog explains why it's now scheduled for a November release. The team plans to release the game simultaneously on "five platforms, including multiple generations of consoles." This appears to have caused more problems than anticipated.
In June, some extended gameplay for Evil West was released, and it was well received by gamers at the time. The delay announcement might be a little frustrating but interested gamers have reacted mostly positively to the announcement.
Evil West will finally be released on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Xbox One, and PS4 on November 22nd this year.
