News Bit: Disney & Marvel Games Showcase Recap

The first-ever Disney and Marvel Games Showcase took place on September 9th at 1 pm PT and brought a lot of news. We've got a quick recap of everything below but here's the full livestream if you'd like to watch it in full.

Here are the new game announcements from the showcase:

• UNTITLED Captain America and Black Panther game announced

• Tron Identity

• Marvel World of Heroes – AR game from Niantic

• Disney Illusion Island

• Gargoyles Remastered

There was also a section dedicated to Ubisoft's Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora to give us a quick gameplay overview. This was released before the Ubisoft Forward which took place on September 10th. In addition, we were given our first look at Aliens: Dark Descent gameplay. There was also a brief Return to Monkey Island update released.

Disney didn't spend much time talking about anything shown in the showcase. Each news drop was relatively brief but informative enough. Despite all the announcements and trailers included, the showcase was under 30 minutes long. While it was a decent showcase, there wasn't a whole lot of information being shared.
