News Bit: Discord is preparing for integration with PSN

A post was made to the Discord subreddit last month which was later deleted by the moderators of the subreddit. The post included an image revealing that the PlayStation Network was on the list of platforms for Discord. It's pretty clear that integration will be coming very soon.

This isn't a surprise however, in May 2021 PlayStation did announce an official partnership with Discord. They had plans to begin integration between the services from early 2022. Now that we're finally in 2022, an announcement should be coming very soon about the upcoming Discord and PSN integration.

What this integration is, we don't know yet. The Xbox integration allows players to display the game they're playing on Xbox through the Discord profile. There's no Discord app for the Xbox and there's no way to know yet if the PlayStation Network will be getting the same treatment.
