News Bit: Dead or Alive Creator is making NFT Games

Dead or Alive is one of the most popular fighting game franchises in the world and its creator, Tomonobu Itagaki, has revealed his newest project. His new game development studio is Apex Game Studios and it seems to be focused on creating NFT games. The first game announced is an MMORPG called Warrior.

Gameplay details for Warrior are pretty limited with Itagaki and Apex Game Studios focusing on the blockchain elements instead. Speaking with Coin Telegraph, Itagaki commented that the aim of Warrior is to solve the issues with GameFi. Warrior will be based on the gameplay of AAA games and include an economic system which will be supported by the exchange of assets through activities in the game.

The official website for Warrior gives us a slightly better look at what to expect. It looks to be a fairly typical MMORPG but will include a support companion mechanic called Mob Servants to assist players in battle.
