News Bit: A new Layers of Fear is being teased

Bloober Team has revealed that Layers of Fear is making a return. The horror developer has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming title. Based on the teaser trailer, it looks as though we'll be seeing the return of the tortured painter from the original game.

The teaser trailer is only short and it's rendered in Unreal Engine 5 but it gives us an idea of what to expect. It features a tortured painter, a canvas and some rather spooky supernatural things. A ghostly voice tells the person to “finish what you started” suggesting this game will be a direct sequel to the first game.

Layers of Fear 2 was released in 2019 with a very different story and a brand new protagonist. It wasn't a sequel to the first game but it looks like Bloober Team is returning to the original story with the new game.
