News Bit: New staff is still being hired for Metroid Prime 4

Metroid Prime 4's development has been extremely turbulent, and it is far from over. It was announced in 2017, but it was scrapped and rebooted in 2019. There was hope that it would be released this year, but some of that hope has now been dashed by the announcement of a new job listing.

Developer Retro Studios has announced on Twitter that they still need more staff to complete the project. The team is looking for a new Tools Engineer and a Technology Engineer to keep working on the upcoming game. Retro Studios states the new jobs are for Metroid Prime 4 in the listings and on Twitter.

Nintendo still has Metroid Prime 4 listed for a 2022 release but the new job listings suggest this might not be happening. There's been no specifics yet about what we can expect from the upcoming game. If Nintendo still expects Metroid Prime 4 to be coming this year then we should expect trailers very soon.
