It might not technically be the start of E3 yet but Geof Keighley's Summer Game Fest has taken place and the livestream came with a bunch of announcements, trailers and major news. The Summer Game Gest 2021 is available in full on YouTube for anyone looking to catch up on the event

Borderlands Spin-Off: Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
Gearbox and 2K have announced a new Borderlands spin-off series focusing on fan favourite, Tiny Tina. The game will launch in early 2022, is a fully stand-alone title and will feature up to four-player co-op with “repeatable end-game content”. It is available for PC via Steam and Epic Game Store, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Death Stranding: Director's Cut
Hideo Kojima made a personal appearance on the livestream to unveil a PlayStation 5 of his latest game. Death Stranding: Director's Cut was revealed with a Metal-Gear themed teaser trailer but no additional details yet. The game is “coming soon” but doesn't have a release date yet.
Among Us getting a new Mode and a new Map
The new Among Us Road Map was revealed along with the new upcoming content. The game will be getting a Hide & Seek mode, new roles such as Sheriff and Scientist along with a brand new map. Achievements will also be coming to the game. The new roles are similar to the most popular modded roles for Among Us so it looks like developer Innersloth is paying attention to what the community wants.
Call of Duty Season 4 Arrives June 17th
The new season for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone will be arriving on June 17th, just after the main E3 event weekend. We can expect to see new maps, modes and Zombie content coming from the new season.
Two Point Campus Announced
The Two Point Hospital developers have taken their success and moved forwards into a whole new area, university! Two Point Campus is a university campus management simulation game where players can build different rooms for all kinds of courses and areas such as Gastronomy and Knight School. The game will launch in 2022 for PC and consoles but players can sign up today for the County Pass to get a special in-game item on launch day.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 Announced
A sequel to the dinosaur management park game has been officially announced by Jeff Goldblum with a 2021 release date. The trailer doesn't show much but it does hint that prehistoric sea and air animals might be included in this one. It will release for PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S later this year.
Monster Hunter Stories 2 gets a Story Trailer
Capcom unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming Monster Hunter game at the Summer Games Fest 2021. The game will be releasing on July 9th for Nintendo Switch and PC.
Vampire: The Masquerade is getting a Battle Royale called Bloodhunt
Vampire: The Masquerade doesn't sound like the kind of series that would get a battle royale game but, developer Shakmob just announce one. It's a third-person, class-based game set in the city of Prague. The vampire clans are at all-out war with one another and are also being hunted by a secret society called the Entity at the same time. Bloodhunt has a closed Alpha coming on July 22nd and the game will launch for PC later this year.
House of Ashes is the next Dark Pictures Anthology game
The next game in the horror series has been announced to be House of Ashes. The brief trailer reveals the next game is set during the 2003 US invasion of Iraq and follows a group of soldiers looking for weapons of mass destruction. House of Ashes will be arriving on October 22nd.
Elden Ring gets a Gameplay Trailer and a Release Date
We all expected this to be dropped during one of the major E3 conferences but publisher Bandai Namco has decided to drop the ball early. Elden Ring is also coming much sooner than any of us expected with the game getting a January 21st 2022 release date. The trailer reveals different parts of the gameplay and we can expect to see much more of the game at the Bandai Namco E3 showcase on June 15th.
